Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to remove your data from quickbook.uk (the pub updates service), including data connected via Facebook Login and Google.
Disconnecting your Facebook Page
If you only want to stop the Service from posting to your Facebook Page (but keep your quickbook.uk subscription):
- Log in to your quickbook.uk account.
- Go to Settings → Connected accounts.
- Click Disconnect next to your Facebook Page.
This immediately deletes the Facebook access token we hold for that Page from our servers, and we will no longer be able to post to it. You can also revoke our app’s access directly from Facebook: go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), find “WP_Posts” / the pub updates service app, and remove it. Removing access there will also delete the connection on our end within 24 hours.
Disconnecting your Google Business Profile
Follow the same steps under Settings → Connected accounts, or remove access directly from your Google Account’s Third-party apps & services page.
Deleting your full account and all associated data
To delete your quickbook.uk account entirely — including your billing details, site content, and any connected Facebook or Google tokens — email privacy@quickbook.uk from the email address on your account, with the subject line “Delete my account”. We will:
- Confirm your identity and the request.
- Delete your Facebook and Google access tokens immediately.
- Delete your account, subscription, and content data within 30 days.
- Retain only what we’re legally required to keep (for example, billing records for UK tax purposes, kept for up to 6 years, and stripped of unnecessary personal detail where possible).
You’ll receive email confirmation once deletion is complete.
